There was a bottle of bubbles and a cheese platter waiting for us in the fridge. The unit feels like a home away from home, with plenty of space and everything you’d need, plus a modern look. And the ocean views are spectacular, right out there in all its glory and changing moods. Love this place.

The beach isn’t an easy stroll, though it’s only about a 10-minute walk down the hill. Once you’re back, it’s quiet and relaxing, with a nice spa and private parking. I think the owner lived downstairs, but I never saw or heard them. Luxury is the word. Incredible views and little extras you don’t get in most places. If you want to spoil yourself, book it.

Falling asleep to the ocean in a comfortable king-sized bed was lovely, and the big open deck has stunning views. The place is right on top of the headland at Scott's Head, and I’d say it’s the best accommodation in the local area. It’s fully furnished and open plan, with high-end kitchen and bathroom fittings, a large two-person spa, and full laundry facilities. There’s also a full-sized garage for your vehicle.

The beach is a little difficult to get to, but that’s a minor issue for such a great place. The upstairs apartment is spacious, with a bedroom, big living room, kitchen, and large balcony. Great ocean views, and the spa bath is a big bonus.
