Chrissy and Doug were glad to help with local tips and tourist attractions, and breakfast was served cheerfully at a time that suited us, with plenty of choice and generous portions. The communal areas, including the lounge, dining area and balcony, all had lovely ocean views over the garden. Our welcome was warm, and we were helped with our luggage and shown around on arrival. The comfortable, homely rooms had tasteful and interesting furnishings. This was our first visit, but we hope it won’t be our last. We highly recommend Moonlight Bay B&B. Geoff and Jane Goodfellow

Our four-poster king-sized bed was superb, though I understand some rooms don’t have a king bed. We paid extra for the cooked English breakfast, and it was excellent; continental breakfast was already included in the tariff. Jeff and Christine gave us a very warm welcome, and the room was thoughtfully and tastefully decorated. They’d left port and Lindt chocolate by the bedside. We loved everything about our stay at Moonlight Bay Bed and Breakfast and would highly recommend the guest house.

We loved Tasmania so much that after spending four nights at the start of our holiday exploring the area, we returned for a couple more nights at the end of our trip around the island. The views from the deck are fantastic, and the location is central to many tourist spots. Chris & Doug are incredibly friendly, and their general knowledge of the Island was a huge help with our holiday. The rooms are beautiful and very clean, and we felt welcome from the moment we walked in. We really didn’t want to leave. Thanks heaps, guys, you made our holiday even better. Highly recommend staying here for at least two nights and seeing the local area.

The gardens are gorgeous, and breakfast was delicious. Christine and Doug welcomed us from the moment we arrived. Our room and ensuite were beautifully furnished, with a claw foot bath, ocean views, and port and chocolate beside the bed.

We finished our holiday here and loved the spacious, clean and comfortable areas, including the outdoor balcony looking out over the ocean. The full breakfast served was amazing. Christine and Doug were wonderful hosts, and everything about Moonlight Bay B&B Accomodation felt 5 star. It’ll be our first stop next trip.
