Charles Sturt Motor Inn West Wyalong

The bed was clean and comfortable, and it did the job for a quick overnight stop. The place could use some care.

The TV in our first room barely worked, picking up only channel 2, so we complained and were moved to a much better room. For what we paid, I also expected an electric blanket on the bed, but there wasn't one. I liked the place, though.

The woman at reception was great, friendly and helpful, and the beds were good. Our family room was old but clean, and the air conditioners worked well, though they were very noisy. The toilet leaked and needed two or three flushes. The pool was so dirty and the area untidy that the kids couldn't swim, which disappointed them. The outside of the motel could use some care too. There was so much deodoriser in the room. We hadn't realised the restaurant was closed, and probably wouldn't have booked if we'd known.

The beds were comfortable, and the cleaner who helped us was very lovely. The first room we were given was quite unpleasant; the second was okay, but still not worth what we paid. When I phoned management, the response was very disrespectful, and nobody was on site to help. I wouldn't recommend staying here and won't be back.
