John and Jill were lovely hosts and made us a delicious breakfast. They even arranged an early one for us when we needed to get to the airport. Harper's on the Beach is right by the White Beach sand dunes, with private beach access and a beautiful sunset view from the verandah. The room is a good size for two, with secure parking, a fridge, plenty of tea and coffee, and a mini fridge if needed. It’s a great little B&B for a visit to the Peninsula. We’ll definitely stay again!

We had a fantastic three-night stay at Harpers on the beach. The bed was so comfortable that I wish I had the same mattress at home. Jill was kind and helpful, and she can cook delicious homemade meals if you fancy them. The place is right on the beach and wonderfully relaxing. I’d recommend it to anyone. Thank you!

The beach shack has been renovated beautifully and had everything we needed for White Beach and a visit to Port Arthur. We had a very comfortable night at Harper’s and would happily recommend staying here. One small thing would make it even better: some cover over the front porch, so it’s still usable when it rains.

The main downside was hearing the owners walking around overhead when staying in a bedroom beneath the main house. In bedroom one, you can clearly hear them going to the toilet, which isn’t ideal. The hosts were professional and provided the services well. The English-style breakfast was good, and the mattress and location were the best parts.

My husband and I had a fantastic stay in the Beach Studio. It was quiet, self-contained and nicely presented, with the beach close by. Bill was really helpful. Looking forward to another getaway soon.
