We had a great stay and will recommend this place to others. The deck has wide open views, and there’s a lovely little wooden bench by the shore for coffee in the morning or afternoon. We slept really well, and the place was comfortable with all the amenities taken care of. The photos don’t do it justice, it’s delightful. IGA is nearby, but we’d suggest self-catering since we didn’t find many local restaurant options. White Beach is a short drive away and looks ideal for a calm swim or water activities. Port Arthur is about a 10-minute drive.

A few yards down from the panoramic balcony, you reach the rocky beach, where the bay feels even more peaceful. It’s a great little beach hut, though the decor is odd and kitschy, and the bedsheets didn’t seem very clean.

The peaceful bay view and comfortable, clean cottage made for a lovely stay. Larus cottage was well equipped, and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook. It’s also conveniently located for Point Arthur.
