The common room became our evening hangout. It was roomy and nicely equipped, and the wood heater made it feel cosy. We had four cabins and two vehicles for seven nights, and were very happy with how the cabins were presented. They were clean and had all the essentials. Thanks, Mick and Maryanne, for being so welcoming.
Marianne's tips on where to eat and what to see were really useful. We needed a car at the last minute, and she went out of her way to arrange one and take good care of us. It was in good shape and made getting around the island easy.
Everything felt tidy and welcoming, and Mick and Marianne did so much to help us enjoy our time on Flinders Island. I can't recommend them highly enough.
The cabin was clean and great, but I was disappointed that there were no extra towels or milk, especially since I've paid similar prices at other places that provided it. I went to reception twice to ask about towels, but it was closed both times. As a first-time visitor, I also found there wasn't much information. Luckily, the lady at the info centre was super helpful and pointed me in the right direction.
The owners were friendly, and the place was clean and comfortable.
