Jacaranda Cottages

We booked the Cathedral for two couples for Sunday and Monday nights. It was peaceful sitting beneath the covered outdoor area, though a few showers cooled our plans to sit around the fire. The place was clean, thoughtfully laid out, and had what we needed; checking in and out without contact was easy. The main bedroom was roomy, but the second queen room felt a little cramped once we had our travel bags. Also, anyone in the sleepout using the toilet at night would need to pass through a bedroom, since the bathrooms are ensuite only. We'd visit again.

The forest sounds at night were a real treat for me as a city person. My partner and I stayed in Whipbird Cottage with our family group at Jacaranda Cottages, and it was clean, welcoming and comfortable, with a huge spa bath and rustic wood heater. We didn't need the heater in the lovely weather, and made good use of the pool and its surroundings instead. Everything we needed was there. Thanks for such a lovely setting for our weekend.

The Lodge worked really well for our family of four, with everything we needed in a modern, clean and private setup. It's a lovely little hidden gem for the whole family. I'd happily recommend it for a family with or without kids, or for a group booking one of the larger homes or several cottages. We'll be back!

We had a lovely five nights at Bunya cottage and really didn't want to go home. It was just right for us, quiet, clean and well equipped, with beautiful scenery all around. Get up early and you might spot kangaroos out and about.
