Apollo Jewel Beachfront Apartments

We stayed in Unit 5 for a weekend, and the balcony overlooking the beach was a gorgeous place to have a meal or a drink at the end of the day. The apartments sit right across from the beach, with a view from the front units. Cafes are within walking distance, and the main part of Mission Beach is a short drive away. The apartment was spacious and clean. The kitchen was a little dated but worked perfectly, and it had everything we needed, including complimentary tea, coffee, milk, and sugar. We’d happily stay again.

Apartment 1 was clean, nicely laid out, and had a really comfortable main bed. The location is a 10 out of 10, with views to die for. The surf club next door has an amazing restaurant, and there are lots of great dining options in Mission Beach. Everyone we met was so friendly. We’ll stay here again when we come back, and highly recommend it.

There was enough to do in the area for two weeks, thanks to the thoughtfully put together guide. We had a great stay: the place was affordable, well equipped, and in a beautiful location. The layout worked well, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the beds were comfortable. Our dedicated parking space was handy, the pools were clean and big enough for a good swim, and we were grateful for the laundry facilities.

The location is lovely, but I’d say don’t stay here. I’d been looking forward to this holiday for ages, and the place was such a disappointment. The bedroom had mould, the floors were dirty, the whole place smelled damp, and there were big holes in the fly screens. The sliding doors wouldn’t slide, so we couldn’t open them to let in the ocean breeze. I spoke to the cleaner, who was there cleaning another apartment. He said the office knew about the problems but fixing them was too expensive.
