There’s plenty of character in this amazing house, and I’d recommend it for groups of families. The local restaurants are impressive, though there’s hardly any need to leave otherwise. We’ll certainly be back.

The nearby town is quaint, the locals are incredibly welcoming, and there are some great restaurants. Byron is close enough for a day trip, too. The house itself is stunning, with rooms, living areas and amenities all to a high standard. The property is beautiful and, just as its name suggests, tranquil, with a lovely stretch of land to roam or sunbathe on and the beach only a three-minute walk away. I absolutely loved my stay and would happily return. It was completely worth it as a destination.

The beach is wild and only a three-minute walk from the pool. We loved the wide wraparound porch, with enough space for queen beds or even a waltz. The bedrooms and bathrooms are eccentric and high class. It’s one of the most beautiful, serene and elegant homes we’ve ever experienced.

For a family holiday or a celebration, Tranquilo beach house is a wonderfully peaceful choice. The house is comfortable and decorated with real taste, and there’s a private outdoor pool as well as a huge private beach. It’s my favourite place in NSW, Australia, and I highly recommend it for a vacation there.

We’ve stayed at the property several times, and each visit has been even better. The pool, gardens and beach all feel magical. It was romantic sharing the privacy with my wife, and just as enjoyable with a group of friends, thanks to the room to move and the facilities. Absolutely loved the place.
