The owner seems focused on bringing in money while doing the bare minimum to maintain the place. It wasn’t clean, and I’m concerned about bed bugs that the owner apparently can’t get rid of. Health and safety are a serious issue here. The rooms seem to get only a quick wipe between guests. It can look fine until you’ve been there for two years and watched what’s going on. The management feels lazy and unprofessional. I’ve posted a review before, but it was removed, so I’m writing again. This motel should be investigated further.

Check in and checkout were easy, and the service was excellent. We were travelling down the coast and stayed one night with our two kids in a family room. The motel was fully booked, but it was still very quiet and we had a restful night. The room was spacious, updated, super clean and well equipped. Such a great surprise.

I’ve been coming to this motel for over 30 years, but my January stay was disappointing. Apart from a fresh coat of paint inside, nothing seems to have changed. The kitchen is still inadequate, with one shelf for all the crockery and a one-slice toaster that burnt one side. There’s no sink, so you have to fill the kettle in the shower. Even allowing for the busy Christmas period, it doesn’t feel worth the price right now.

The rooms are great, and don’t underestimate the box aircon, it gets coooooold! Blackout curtains would be a welcome addition, though. Without them, it’s hard to get little ones down for a nap.

I stopped by for a night. The room and bathroom were tidy and clean, and the host at reception was pleasant to deal with.
