Bayshore Beachside Resort

Quiet and tucked among leafy surroundings, this place has what you need for a last-minute getaway. The self-contained units come with tennis courts and a games room, so there's something for everyone. It's close to the beach, and town is a short drive away with plenty of places to eat or grab a drink. The pot belly wood fire stove is just right on cold nights. Very clean and safe.

The grounds were lovely, and the inlet behind them was a nice touch. The villas were clean, welcoming, and well equipped, some of the nicest we've stayed in. A pool would have been great, since the bushland walk to the beach put us off going. Still, Bayshore is a place I'd recommend for a relaxing getaway.

You can hardly beat the location. The beach is right across the road.

The villas are spacious, comfortable, and in a lovely quiet resort, and we'd happily come back for the location alone. But the cleaning let things down: the floors were so dirty that our little one was covered in black dust after crawling for barely a minute, and there was hair across the bathroom counters and tiles.
