The front desk phone was picked up and hung up on me several times when I called for help, so I couldn't get any support. I paid AUD 205 for one night, which felt quite expensive for what was provided. There wasn't even a hair dryer in the room. At that price, I expected basic amenities and responsive service, but the stay fell short of reasonable expectations.

The place was quiet at the edge of town, aside from the corellas, and there was lovely artwork on the outside walls. The room was comfortable, and the reception lady, Tania I think, was lovely and friendly. Breakfast was included: cereal, milk, cooked fruit, juice and a muesli bar. A nice motel.

Everything was neat and clean, and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was supplied too, with cereal and milk, a fruit cup, a little juice and a muesli bar. It's right by town, under a five minute drive. I'd recommend stopping there if you're passing through.

We were heading home to Sydney from Melbourne on a road trip and made a last minute booking. The team at the Ship Inn was great about finding us a room, and bringing our cat was no problem. Billie went out of the way to get our lights working, even offering to replace a bulb around 10pm. It was a nice, quiet stay, and we'd come back.

Wonderful little place. Don't let its age put you off, it's comfortable and clean. A great base for exploring wilsons prom and tarra Valley, which was incredible out the back of Welshpool.
