The balcony had great views, and the bed was wonderfully comfortable. I had a great night’s sleep. Kookaburra lodge and Yungaburra have a lovely, charming feel, with greenery and flowers everywhere, fairy lights and a peaceful atmosphere. My room was small but very clean, well arranged and had great amenities. The soap bars and coffee station were a nice touch. The reception lady was really friendly and helpful, Cindy, I think? The outdoor chairs could be more comfortable, and a smart TV would be handy for Chromecast. Still, I was very happy with the stay. Thank you!

The room had loads of space and everything we needed, plus a bit more. The staff were warm and welcoming, and gave us useful tips for things to do around the area. Such a beautiful location. I’d happily stay again next time I’m nearby.

Breakfast was stellar, and eating on the little veranda overlooking the lush garden was a lovely, peaceful start to the day. The staff made us feel at home and were delightful. The rooms are basic but pleasant, with all the amenities you could ask for. A wonderful place to relax and get away. We’ll stay again.

We only stopped in for one night at the last minute, but found a clean, tidy and quiet room. They also had a clean BBQ and supplied the utensils, oil, plates and everything else we needed. We picked up food from a local butcher and had a lovely dinner. Just remember to leave the BBQ clean for the next person, it’s only courteous. Recommend this place.

This was our second stay, and it was just as exceptional as the first. The property is beautifully maintained, with a garden setting and a usable outdoor patio for each room. Clean, homely and comfortable, and very good value. Call direct for better rates. It doesn’t feel like your usual motel.
