Villa Bougainvillea Aruba

A beautiful, peaceful oasis, with wonderful gardens and calm surroundings. Rona is the best hostess you'll ever find. It's near wonderful snorkeling and not too far from the main tourist area. Loved our stay.

The garden and pool were so lovely that I could happily have spent my whole vacation there. Rona’s kindness, her sweet dogs, and all the care put into the grounds really made the place feel special. Even the local art on the walls and the little design details showed how much love went into it. After seeing beaches all around the island, I’d still come back to this peaceful little spot on the north side. My only regret is that I didn’t stay longer. Thank you for everything, Rona. Lilly and Bonchi would often come by for a visit, and they’re just as laid-back and sweet as Rona. She’s a wonderful host, easygoing and full of helpful ideas about places to see, things to do, and restaurants to try. The pool is great for lounging and looking at the stars, and the villa grounds are lovely to walk around. There’s also a nice path down to the Ritz. The beach is only a short walk away. Borrow a couple of chairs and a cooler, then settle under a tree or palapa for the day. The beach to the right, with the stairs, is the one to try for snorkeling and seeing turtles. Sunsets are right there too. Stores and restaurants are a quick drive along the beach, while the villa is far enough from the busier areas and cruise ships. It was such a perfect place to spend a week in paradise. Thanks, Rona. Until next time. ❤️

Villa Bougainvillea has become one of our favorite places that feels like home away from home. Rona is fantastic, always ready to help and full of useful information, and her pups made me feel even more at home. It really feels like one of the island’s best kept secrets. There’s a plaque on the property that says, “if you're lucky enough to vacation in Aruba, you're lucky enough,” and that says it nicely.
