Elements of Aruba

My girlfriend and I loved staying with Frank and Ineke. They were kind, modest hosts who went out of their way to help with our travels and whatever else we needed, and made us feel at home. We liked the location too, and Aruba is the best place to be. We'd visit them again if we could, and will one day. For service, quality, and compassion, I give them 5/5.

Frank and Ineke are the kind of hosts you hope to find. They can pick you up at the airport, arrange a rental car, and have plenty of tips for seeing the whole island. Their three apartments sit in a lovely garden with lots of privacy, each with a private patio, plus a nice pool in this quiet spot. The apartments are spacious, clean, nicely decorated, and fully equipped, with wifi, bath towels, a well equipped kitchen, and good air conditioning. It's a unique place in Aruba.

Elements of Aruba was our first visit to the island, and friends who suggested this apartment gave us a very good recommendation. We had no regrets. The apartment and, especially, the hosts made the trip what we'd dreamed it could be, alongside the friendly locals, palm trees, cacti, beaches, swimming, and snorkeling. The charming hostess picked us up at the airport, and 15 minutes later we were having a cold beer under the palm trees. Our rental car was already waiting beside the apartment. That hospitality continued all through the stay: Ineke and Frank gave us advice on hikes, bars, quiet beaches, restaurants, and even where to get good medical care if a problem came up. They made the visit really special. There's lots of room inside, with a nice living area, good kitchenette, large air conditioned bedroom, and a pretty big veranda. You can also sit beside the small pool under the palms. It's peaceful here, about 10 minutes by car from the beach, where parking is free, and 10 minutes from Oranjestad for shopping. There are some nice little restaurants within walking distance. The compound has three apartments and the owners' house, with privacy for each. We were there in April and will return in September. All credit to hostess Ineke and host Frank, who made our Aruba stay more than worthwhile.

Ineke and Frank's hospitality is what made our week so great. The apartment had just been completely renovated and repainted, with lots of new things and a lovely, artistic setup. A very nice place to stay on Aruba.
