A1 Apartments Aruba

Being downtown and away from the resorts was exactly what we liked about A1 apartments. We got to see the luxury side of Aruba and spend time with friendly, happy locals too. Samuel and Stanley made us feel welcome from the first minute. The bus station is just a five minute walk away, so getting around the island was easy, and having a supermarket next door meant we could use the full kitchen. Mornings with freshly ground Peruvian coffee from Samuel’s coffee station were lovely. After long days at the beach, it was great to unwind by the clean, refreshing apartment pool. Thanks to Sam and his father Stanley for making our Aruba experience so special.

The rooms were a decent size, and I really enjoyed staying here. It’s a short walk to the town center, with a few restaurants nearby. The spot feels quiet and local while still being easy to get around from. Stanley and his son were wonderful and went out of their way to make me feel at home. When I first arrived, they even lent me cash for my taxi, thank you again! Stanley was sick during my visit but still made an effort to help me. Hope you’re feeling better, Stanley. We stayed six nights and liked having restaurants, grocery stores, and gift shops close by. It was our first time on the island, and our first trip since the Covid19 issues. Samuel and Laura took us to one of their local favorite restaurants, and it was fantastic and very reasonably priced. We travel a lot as a travel agent, and I can honestly say I’ve never been treated so warmly. Stanley and Ingrid shared valuable information about Aruba and made sure we had everything we needed. We’d definitely stay here again.

The rooms were exceptionally clean and spacious, and the location was spot on, in a safe area just a short walk from downtown. I was a little nervous since it was my first trip to the Caribbean, but Stanley, his wife, and son went out of their way to make sure I had a great first experience. They were the kindest, most hospitable people I’ve met. By far my best experience staying with the Kemps. Thank you!
