Cesar, the apartment owner, is the nicest person in Aruba. He’s awesome, helpful, kind, service-oriented, just the best. Aruba Apartments is a one-man show, and he does a darn good job. The room was great, but we couldn’t control the air conditioner and it was freezing. We also had no internet, so we were completely cut off and couldn’t even tell our relatives we’d arrived safely. We were told the outage wasn’t the hotel’s fault, but nobody offered an alternative, like a courtesy call. Expedia greedily charges 29 percent for booking this place. The rate was 107 and we paid 139.28. For that extra charge, we could have stayed at a four-star hotel next to the beach. If you don’t mind freezing without internet, book it blindly. You won’t regret it. Lovely place, but no internet.

After more than 20 years of prepaying through Expedia, we arrived to find they had canceled our reservation without telling us. We were left without a place to stay and had to spend part of our precious vacation searching for another room.

The owner was really nice, and the bed was comfortable. Very clean, with a handy little kitchenette. Perfect for shirt stays. I’d go again.

For a short visit before my flight the next day, this clean, quiet, comfortable apartment was ideal. The service was very friendly, too. The city center is a long walk, though, so it’ll be difficult if you’re not keen on walking, and you’ll want walking shoes. Taxis are expensive, but there are buses nearby. You still have to walk to get to them.

A great place to stay, with good service. Downtown Aruba, the beach, casinos, and shopping are all nearby. Highly recommend.
