Eagle Beach is just across the road, about a 5-minute walk away, and the condo is less than a 10-minute drive from the Port. That made it easy to meet up with cruise friends, enjoy the lively area, and take an evening stroll for classic touristy photos. The location was a big part of the value. The beds were super comfortable, the room was roomy, and the pool was only steps away. I would’ve liked a lounger on the balcony, but having the pool close by made up for that. The smart TVs had streaming apps, which came in handy since I’d left my iPad at home. The kitchen had plenty of utensils and seasonings if we wanted to cook, and there was a gym just steps from the condo. Bring cash if you want to rent an umbrella at the beach.

The area is quiet, with beautiful grounds, and Eagle Beach is within walking distance. There are coffee shops, a movie theater, and restaurants nearby. The apartment had a nice layout, plenty of plates, cups, and utensils, plus towels, a cooler, and beach chairs. I liked how hot the water got for evening showers. The gym equipment is basic but works, and it has A/C. Wi-Fi was super fast when it stayed connected. The unit itself needed some repairs. The bathroom doorknob was broken, the shower door didn’t close tightly, and the drain emptied slowly. There were cracks in the bathroom paint and a ceiling patch near the bathroom that needed work. Having to enter a code each time I came or went was annoying.

Del Mar was well kept, and they were quick about taking out the trash. There’s a small convenience store nearby, and the little pool was great. We saw lots of iguanas around. Eagle Beach was within walking distance, and I recommend the place.

At the end of the road there’s wonderful access to Eagle Beach, so the location is perfect. The area around Jardines Del Mar can look a little off-putting at first, but inside the gates it feels like paradise.

We stayed in apartment #27. The grounds were well kept and tucked away, with just a short walk to the beach. Everything was clean, and the kitchen had been updated and was well stocked with appliances.
