The central spot worked well for getting around the island, with the main shopping areas like Palm Beach Plaza, Paseo Herencia, and Royal Plaza Mall an easy drive away. Free gated parking was another plus. We stayed in a two-bedroom suite that felt newly renovated, with roomy bedrooms, a well-equipped kitchen, clean common areas, a decent-sized pool, and comfortable loungers. Pool towels were handy for the beach, though I was glad I’d brought my own washcloth. A couple of things could be better. The coffee shop didn’t open until 8 or 9, which made an early start tricky, and the bed linens were rough enough that I covered a pillow with a T-shirt. The shower had shampoo and body wash in wall dispensers, including the island’s aloe products, but no conditioner. The room walkthrough went on longer than it needed to, though the staff member was friendly and I appreciated the welcome. The bigger issue came when housekeeping visited. I’d left my earrings on the bedside table before snorkeling, and after my pajamas were moved there, one earring went missing. We couldn’t find it, and the housekeeper didn’t seem concerned. At checkout, staff simply said it was too bad. It wasn’t expensive, but it was a keepsake from a little Christmas market in Portugal, so I would’ve appreciated a simple apology. I’d still recommend staying here. Just don’t leave small things lying around.

The staff made this small Aruba hotel feel welcoming from the moment I arrived. Kari at the front desk was especially warm and helpful, and everyone else was attentive throughout my stay. The place was spotless, and our kitchen had everything we needed. They also supplied beach chairs and a cooler, with an icemaker on site, and there was plenty of parking. I’d recommend renting a car to see the island, so that parking was very convenient. It’s a cozy, well-equipped place with great staff, and I’d happily come back to Aruba.

Judy did a wonderful job keeping our room clean and making sure we had what we needed during our four nights. The rest of the staff were kind too, and the front desk gave us helpful recommendations for things to do around the island. We really liked the cozy cafe and dining area, and the coffee was delicious. We had a great stay and will definitely be back.

We especially enjoyed the excellent service and the cafe’s nice breakfast and coffee. Our room was spacious, quiet, and clean. One thing I’d suggest is offering beach chairs and a small cooler, which would be handy for travelers.

The cafe bar is stunning, and the hotel has plenty going for it too: big, lovely rooms, good amenities, a pool, a barbecue area, and excellent customer service. It holds its own against the big resorts. The property isn’t on the beach, but with a car that’s no problem on such a small island. I had a beautiful week here and would rate this boutique hotel somewhere between 9 and 10.
