Clean rooms and a good location. Such a good hotel, and thanks so much to everyone working there, especially ^wahed ^

We were very happy with the room and the hotel overall. The beds were extremely comfortable, the shower was modern and roomy, and the towels were excellent. Everything felt like a true five-star standard. Cleanliness was generally good, although the carpet could have had a more thorough vacuum here and there. That was a small detail. The location was a clear ten out of ten for us. The Watergate Hotel Baku is between Içerişehir (Old town) and Nizami Street, right in central Baku, yet it was quiet and comfortable. The main sights are easy to reach on foot. We spent eight unforgettable days here, and the staff deserve special mention: they were unusually helpful, friendly, and professional, took every request seriously, and made us feel welcome all the time. Another ten out of ten. We’d highly recommend staying here. Thanks for a wonderful visit, and all the best to The Watergate Hotel.

We were a group of friends staying in this new 13-room mini-hotel, and Nargiz, the manager, was so helpful. We’re very grateful! The hotel is on the building’s third floor, with its own entrance and an elevator. Our room was new and pleasant, with a great bed and linens, AC, a large closet, small safe, TV, minibar, kettle, coffee, tea, and bottled water. The bathroom had a shower, a great tropical showerhead, hairdryer, toiletries, and toothbrushes. Bathrobes and disposable slippers were provided, and the towels were a particular treat. Service was very good and unobtrusive. Breakfast was simple and could perhaps be improved, but you won’t go hungry. The hotel is rated 2.5 stars, apparently because it doesn’t have its own building or restaurant. But the room size and amenities felt more like a 3.5-4 star hotel. The location is central, with the Old Town, Fountain Square, and Governor’s Garden only 400-600 meters away. There are three 24-hour grocery stores, a fishmonger, a great pastry shop, and a candy store nearby, and the metro is 400 meters away. Our whole group warmly recommends it!

A convenient location, and the shared balcony has a lovely view of the city and the towers. I really liked the hotel: the staff were friendly and understanding, and the rooms were clean, fresh, and spacious. Clean towels and robes were provided, along with everything needed, including soap, brushes, and shampoo.
