Arion Hotel Baku

We had a fantastic three-night stay with our corporate group, wonderfully managed by Vantage Journeys Pvt Ltd. Arion Hotel Baku is in the best location, and the rooms were neat and clean. That made the experience even more memorable.

You can hear shouting and screaming from the neighboring room, which makes it uncomfortable. This hotel definitely isn't suitable for a family stay. Maybe it's better for a short stay only.

The room was disappointing, with stained floors, a dirty bathroom ceiling, too few hangers, worn towels, and a strong chlorine smell. Breakfast also missed the mark: there was no coffee, and the bread was uncut, so guests had to handle it themselves. We asked to have the room cleaned before leaving, but the bedsheets hadn't been changed. Our arrival wasn't smooth either. We got there on time at 5 pm, but check-in took 30 minutes, and guests who'd arrived before us were still waiting. No one was available to help with our luggage, and at first we were given a room that didn't match our booking. Staff promised a suite upgrade within 50 minutes, but what we got was the same standard room we'd booked, without luxury amenities. For the money, the service and communication were poor, and it left us wondering whether this place deserves its claimed 5-star rating.

The air conditioning hasn't worked for the last three days. Each time we raised it, the staff gave us a different excuse. We paid the full amount upfront and asked for a discount, but their response wasn't helpful. We were very disappointed with the stay. It wasn't a good experience, and I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.
