Baku Rigs Hotel

We spent four nights here for our honeymoon and were very satisfied. Our room was on the third floor of this three-storey hotel. The stairs were comfortable and didn’t hurt our feet, and the room was a standard size. I had my hair and makeup done at the hotel for a photoshoot, and everything went perfectly. There were two mirrors, one full-length and one for makeup. The hotel was very clean, and the modern room had a TV and Wi-Fi. It was quiet, with no bad smells or other negatives. Breakfast was repetitive, so after two or three days it might be better to try restaurants outside. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Thanks to all of them.

The corridor smelled strongly of smoke and something else, the room had mosquitoes, and the sheets were dirty and dusty. I stayed one night, then left the next morning to find somewhere else. It wasn’t worth staying at all, and there are much better hotels on Nazimi street.

It’s a budget hotel with basic amenities, in a good area with food options and a 24-hour supermarket. It’s right beside the main road, so the area doesn’t feel scary or dodgy.

The place wasn’t very tidy, but the guy at reception was extremely courteous and friendly.
