For a few days in Baku, it’s good value. I came for three days, which was more than enough to see all the nice things in the city. The hosts were lovely, and my private room was good and clean. It’s a hostel, so don’t expect perfection. Shops, restaurants, and cafes are all nearby, and the location is great.

Finding the hostel can be tough because there’s no sign outside. It’s right beside the sportsbar "the gym" and directly across from a Kaffeehaus, as shown in the photo. Once there, the staff were eager to help, and it was very clean by Baku hostel standards. The mattresses have had a lot of use, though.

I paid a deposit for three beds here, but when I arrived, they told me the hostel was overbooked and had given away the beds I’d booked. That left me stranded in Baku. I’d give zero stars if I could.

The price was affordable, and the hostel was small but pleasant. The owner was a great guy and did his best to help.

They were kind, but I was charged twice several months ago and still haven’t got the money back for my two nights.
