The meal and service at Panoramic restaurant were excellent. At Crown Suites, Sabina at reception and Yegana, the cleaning lady, were especially lovely and looked after us so well. Their warmth made our time in Baku feel special.

The one letdown was the swimming pool being closed, even though we'd been told on WhatsApp it would be open. Everything else made for a pleasant stay: a lovely view, excellent breakfast, and rooms that kept out noise. Staff were kind and accommodating even when we got back late, and the housekeeping team made a real effort to communicate despite limited English. If Ajax plays in Baku again next year, we'll book here again.

Ramil works evenings and was one of the worst employees I've encountered. I called reception, but the call was cut off. When I went down from my room to ask for tissues, he said the hotel didn't have any and there was nothing he could do. He doesn't deserve to work at a clean hotel like this.
