Flamingo Hotel Baku

A 24*7 market store was just a stone's throw away, which was super convenient, and the location was perfect. At Flamingo Hotel, the staff were friendly and attentive, going above and beyond to make me comfortable. My room was clean, hygienic, and well-maintained, so it felt like home. Wonderful hospitality and excellent service. I'd highly recommend it for the location and spotless rooms. 👍🏨💯

The toilet had traces of feces left by the previous guest, and I found numerous hairs on the mattress. Even for a low price, the hotel's hygiene and safety problems are serious. In room 103, the bathroom was very old and deteriorated, and looked as if it could break at any time. After I was moved to room 102, I saw that the roller on the bathroom glass door was bent, so that room's door also seemed unsafe. When I closed the shower door in the first room, the glass suddenly shattered and fragments injured my fingers, arms, and legs. Although faulty equipment seemed a strong possibility, the hotel repeatedly demanded payment for the damage and pressured me in an intimidating way. The air conditioner in room 102 also failed to heat properly and showed error code “P2”. I asked reception several times to check it, but they insisted it wasn't broken and did nothing. I ended up sleeping in a very cold room.

The location was great, and I found the hotel clean and safe. The staff were kind and understanding too. Thank you for everything.

Breakfast was identical each morning, and my room wasn't cleaned or serviced at all during my four nights at Hotel Flamingo Baku. Fresh towels or cleaning seemed to require a specific request, since nothing happened automatically. It also took ages for the hot water to come through. The bed was comfortable, and one very helpful lady on staff seemed to handle nearly everything except making breakfast. For the price, the service was probably what you'd expect. It's an okay budget option, as long as you speak up when you need something.
