Harmony Hotel Baku

The rooms were comfortable and well appointed, and the hotel had a calm, inviting atmosphere to come back to after exploring Baku. At reception, Ms. Leman made check-in smooth and shared useful information about the hotel amenities and local attractions. Mr. Rasul and Mr Gunduz were friendly and attentive, always ready to answer questions, with good dining and sightseeing recommendations. The whole reception team welcomed me warmly, and their professionalism and commitment to guest satisfaction stood out. My stay at Harmony Hotel was a pleasure, and I look forward to returning. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Baku.

I had to book Harmony hotel for three days after my trip was unexpectedly extended. The location is great, but the room was horrible, with stained carpets and curtains coming off. Breakfast was very average, and the staff were far from cordial.

The breakfast was terrible both days. On the first morning, we were told at the restaurant entrance to choose an omelette or two small sausages. It took 15 minutes for the waiter to bring an omelette with two pieces of bread, then another 15 minutes for cold coffee. The next day was worse: we had to pay extra for an omelette, while the only included options were a bowl of cereal and a few pieces of watermelon. This is supposed to be a ‘4 stars’ hotel. We had booked through a travel agency, which had presented the property very differently from what we found. The agency was disappointed too. Many advertised amenities don’t exist, and even basic things are missing. Some lights didn’t work, nor did the TV, the safe wouldn’t open, Wi-Fi was troublesome, the furniture and electrical appliances were very primitive, and the temperature was either too hot or too cold. From check-in onward, the experience was the worst. The staff seemed unskilled and insensitive with guests, and the front desk clerk wasn’t friendly. Customer service was poor, and we were extremely dissatisfied. We were meant to stay longer but decided to leave early. My friends and I stayed at hotel UNOXXA from Saturday August, 20th to Monday August, 22nd, and we were very disappointed with the service. The hotel is called a ‘4 stars’ property, but it doesn’t deserve a star. I believe the travel agency should take proper action and make sure no guest ends up there. Service determines success in tourism and hospitality, and decision makers should know how guests are treated and the bad image this gives the country. Quick action is needed to soothe guests and hosts. With all these problems and much more, I certainly wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

It’s close to all the city attractions, in a clean, safe area. The staff are friendly and very accommodating, and it’s an excellent hotel for families.
