I left after one night and gave up what I’d paid for the next few nights so I could stay somewhere nicer. I booked because of the score, which was a mistake. The bathrooms were dirty, there were only two toilets for the whole place, and one toilet door was broken. One of the two showers I tried was broken too. Screws stuck out of the bed, which felt hazardous, and the beds were cheap and uncomfortable. Staff and guests smoked with the door open, so smoke blew back inside, even into my room. People kept leaving the door open, and staff talked loudly outside my room in the early hours. Eventually someone slammed the door and they got quiet. This doesn’t feel like a backpackers’ place. It seems to attract people who don’t socialize or know basic etiquette.
