Qafqaz Baku City Hotel & Residences

There’s a panoramic restaurant on the 18th floor with a view across Baku, and the hotel itself has spectacular views too. Rooms are large, clean, and good, and the SPA center is decent. Staff were polite and friendly, though some don’t speak English, which made communication difficult at times. Service could be faster. The side facing the boulevard is noisy much of the time.

Check-in took a little longer than expected, but everything else was fine. The hotel was clean and the rooms spacious. Breakfast was good, though it was the same each of the three days.

We spent three days here with our family and kids, and it was a very pleasant stay. The staff were helpful and polite, and the place felt clean, comfortable, and suitable for families. We also enjoyed relaxing in the well-maintained sauna and jacuzzi. I’d recommend it to families.

The location felt far from all the attractions, and I’m not planning to return. Breakfast was a nightmare, like eating on the street in the worst way, and there was no organization. Staff barely understood English, weren’t helpful, and some were actually rude. I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless you’re ready to fight your way through it.
