Ramada Hotel & Suites Baku

The room was clean, with just two small bottles of water provided free each day. But there was no tea boiler, breakfast fell below standard, and the staff weren't friendly. They charged extra for anything you asked for.

We were charged the full cost of a TV, and they didn't give us a bill. I believe the money they took would go into their pockets. On checkout day, a staff member came to inspect the room and switched on a TV that was already damaged. They then said we had broken it. I felt cheated, as if the staff had planned this, especially because they knew we were checking out that day. Please inspect everything in the room when you check in, particularly at Ramada hotels. Beware of this hotel group.

For the price, the service wasn't good enough, and the hotel is a bit far from the center. The rooms are spacious, but they weren't clean and had a lot of broken things, poor lighting, and barely any internet. The weak Wi-Fi may be more of an issue for heavy users like me. Room service was poor too. I saw that the hotel was apparently given five stars, though I'm not sure by whom. I'd rate it three, or four at the most if I were being generous.

From the entrance, the hotel looks nice, but the rest fell below standard. The rooms smelled of smoke, the breakfast was poor, and the beds were average at best. The location wasn't convenient either. Disappointing.
