Avoid this place. We had just one towel between two people for three days, and the air conditioning didn't work at all. There wasn't even a window in the room. I paid on arrival, but staff then tried to charge my travel partner, followed by a knock in the middle of the night saying we had to pay again. When we raised it with the manager, it was clear the staff were trying to pull a fast one. I moved to a five-star hotel as soon as I could, for only a little more. Probably the worst hotel I've stayed in.

The room had no window and the AC barely worked, so there was no ventilation. We were given room 206 opposite reception, where people shouted all night and we couldn't sleep. When we mentioned it in the morning, they ignored us. The hotel is on the highway, about 2 km from the nearest metro. The staff were welcoming, but acted as if they were doing us a favor by giving us a room. I think we got special attention because we are Indian. One morning there was no water because of an electrical problem, and they had no backup. All the guests suffered for 14 hours. Be careful before booking.

Our rooms at Riva hotel had been given to someone else when we arrived. The staff were very helpful and moved us to another hotel, Ariva hotel, where the staff were very good and helpful, especially Merza. But that hotel is very far from the old city.

The beds were comfortable, but the location was horrible. The bathroom was average, the air conditioning didn't work very well, and the staff weren't much help.

Mr. Etibar was a very good and helpful person, taking special care to assist all the guests. The staff were good, and the room cleaning was acceptable.
