Zam-Zam Hotel Baku

Families could find this an excellent choice, even though it's a bit far from the city center and Nizami Street. The rooms were clean, and the staff were very professional and kind. I loved the breakfast lounge view over the sea, the scenery was captivating. Breakfast isn't an open buffet and could offer more variety, but there are different sets to choose from, prepared and served at your table.

For a 2* hotel, Zamzam Hotel gives you a lot for very little money. The interiors are modest and there aren't luxurious restaurants, but the essentials are covered, and there's a grocery store and pharmacy just 15 meters from the entrance. I came to walk around Baku and see its famous sights, and this was more than enough for that. After a full day on foot, a clean bed, internet, good breakfast, and a convenient location are what you need, and Zamzam Hotel has those. The breakfast setup was unusual: pick a set you like and it's prepared within 20 minutes.

Breakfast is served as a fixed plate, and the items are the same every day. Still, this is a superb budget hotel, with very clean rooms and easy access. An approximately 8-minute or longer walk gets you to the boulevard, Baku Eye, Deniz mall, carpet museum, little Venice, and the Furnicular up to flame towers & martyrs street. There are also plenty of supermarkets at the foothill of the hotel.

Kanan made my trip memorable. He was so helpful, arranged a great tour guide, and suggested lots of amazing places to visit. I stayed for 7 days and had a wonderful time. The room was clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect. I'd highly recommend the hotel and would definitely visit again.
