Lankaran Springs & Wellness Resort

The evening music in the lobby was so loud that relaxing was impossible. I came to get away from the noise of Baku, but felt like I was right back in it. I calmly raised my concerns with the staff and got no reaction. I also asked for just a 30-minute late checkout and was simply told no. We arrived for our October 10-11 stay, room 500 for two adults and two children, and found only fast food in the lobby restaurant: nuggets, pizza, and fries. For a place calling itself a “Wellness Hotel,” that felt disrespectful. When we asked about national cuisine, they said Sumak restaurant upstairs was booked for a corporate event and we couldn’t go there. Paying guests should be told in advance when booking if a main restaurant will be unavailable. The Kids Club has been locked for years, despite being advertised. We’ve stayed at Lankaran Springs Hotel many times with family over the past 3-4 years, hoping it would improve, but it’s gotten worse each year and I’ve lost patience. This stay was the last straw. The hotel clearly doesn’t value customers. For me, Lankaran Springs is finished. Go if you want, but expect fast food and noise, not wellness.

The friendly atmosphere made our stay really enjoyable, and everything was well organized. The kitchen chefs, restaurant staff, and housekeeping team were all attentive and kind. The food was plentiful and delicious, and the entertainment team was a real pleasure. Everyone was smiling and ready to help. I’d recommend it to anyone after a comfortable, fun stay.

The room was spacious and well kept, with the furniture, carpet, curtains, and cleanliness all in good shape. The bathroom felt a bit cramped, and the WC didn’t have a shattaf hose. The place is calm and pleasant, a good resort for couples wanting a getaway or families looking to relax, and it’s kid friendly. Breakfast had the widest selection, while lunch and dinner were satisfactory. In warmer weather, the air conditioning may not cool enough for a comfortable night. We were pleased with the rooms, food, and staff, and management was proactive when issues came up.

The woodland around the hotel gives it a peaceful feel, and getting here from Baku is easy, with a smooth, well-maintained road. I’ve stayed twice and enjoyed the attentive staff, facilities, breakfast, refreshing pool, and activities like bowling and other games. Kükü Restaurant on the 9th floor was a highlight, with exceptional dining. Thanks especially to Vugar Bey for checking in to make sure our stay met expectations. His professional, proactive approach meant a lot. I’ll be back.
