I can’t say anything about the rooms, food, or treatments because I never got there. I booked two rooms online three weeks ahead, then a week before check-in I messaged on WhatsApp to arrange a transfer. That’s when they told me, “Don’t come, the spa is closed until October 9th.” When I asked why I couldn’t cancel my booking, they replied, “The guy on the website probably didn’t do it, so don’t come.” Nobody sent me a cancellation notice. Then, three days before check-in, “the guy on the website” got in touch to remind me they were expecting us. 😁🤣🙈

We went in August 2024, and it was easy to get out to see the country’s nature and sights, with trips to Ganja, Kabala, and Baku available. On Saturday, a musical group performed national songs and music, with beautiful singing and dancing that gave us a chance to learn more about Azerbaijan’s culture. The people were very friendly and put guests first, much like the Kazakhs. Our nations have that in common, though the language is different, apart from the counting. We’re all Turks from the same cradle, and we felt respect for our country everywhere. Thank you, Azerbaijan, for the warm welcome! ❤️ The sanatorium itself is small and in a quiet spot, with several other sanatoriums nearby. I liked it compared with the huge buildings around it. The staff were very polite, and the medical care was excellent. Eight procedures are included in the price, with extra cosmetic or medical ones available if you want them. We added ozone therapy and biomassage. The rooms, buildings, and grounds were all very clean and cozy. Reception staff speak Russian. We were lucky to meet the manager, Elmaddin, who speaks Russian and Kazakh very well. He grew up in Kazakhstan.
