The views and outdoor areas were the best parts of our stay at Macara Lake Village Resort. The scenery was stunning, and there were plenty of places and activities to enjoy, including a football court, park, and open spaces. Everything outside was clean, pleasant, and well maintained. Breakfast had lots of options and was great, though the walk from our room to the restaurant was a bit of a meh. The rooms were fine and comfortable for one night, but it was disappointing that there was no smart TV in 2026. The washrooms were a little old, but still usable. A nice resort with a few things that could be modernized. 🫤

Macara Resort in Quba was a great escape from the city, with mountains and nature all around and a peaceful atmosphere. We had spotless, comfortable rooms, and the staff went above and beyond to make the stay enjoyable. The facilities were great and the local food was delicious. Can’t wait to come back!

The so-called buffet breakfast was a 7 out of 10. In the room, it was sauna-hot, and the bathroom tap water was just as hot. Still, the nature was beautiful, the air clear, and the night sky full of stars.
