Hotel Emporium

Breakfast portions were so small that it felt like they were saving on food for guests. When I asked for more, the waiter made rude, inappropriate comments. I complained in writing and got no reply. I wouldn't stay here again.

At least there’s parking and easy access to the main roads, though the location itself isn’t a selling point. The rooms are fine but mediocre for the price. Service was poor: we waited 15 minutes for the waitress and found the staff unfriendly throughout. Coffee was charged separately because it wasn’t included with breakfast.

The staff were really friendly and helpful, and the service was better than I've had at hotels under $100 a night. It was under $50 here, too. The large rooms have a comfortable full-size desk and a couch, and the showers are powerful and relaxing. I could hear the door directly below my room slamming late at night and after 8 am. Smoking was allowed in the restaurant, including during the free breakfast.

I felt sick and drowsy the whole time I was there. The food was disgusting, the accommodation was terrible, and the air around the hotel seemed hazardous. I saw them using some strange oils for heating and cooking. I can't recommend visiting at all, and would advise avoiding the place completely, since you might get very sick just by entering. It was also wildly overpriced, as if it were a hotel in Saint Tropez. An honest 0 out of 10. 0/10.
