Motel Neno

Really great.

At €25 a night, I wasn't expecting luxury, but I did expect basic comfort. This place only makes sense if your expectations are very low or you like an adventure. I wouldn't stay here again. The room felt like a tiny museum display from the 19th century. It was about 2x2 meters, so once my suitcase was open, there was nowhere left to stand. The furniture and TV looked like exhibits. At least the room was clean. The heating was another problem. There's a Norwegian radiator, but even when I set it to 5, I could come back and find it turned down to 2. It gave the impression they were saving electricity at all costs. The host even reminded guests to switch off the hallway lights to avoid using a few extra watts. The bathroom has a miniature boiler, with just enough hot water for one person. If you're travelling as a pair, the second person gets a refreshing shower.

We arrived to find the motel empty, without any cars, yet the owner said he'd check whether there was a room. The kitchen wasn't working, the Wi-Fi was poor, and the toilet area smelled. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

The staff deserve credit, and the place was quite clean. Still, everything felt very old. For the price, you can't expect luxury, so I'd strongly recommend this motel.
