We really enjoyed our time here. It's right by a lovely, cool river, perfect for a quick dip, and the pool was amazing. I also loved having the hammock for a nap. We were greeted with two cold beers, and the people living there were so friendly and gave us great tips about the area. A lovely place to relax and be out in nature.

Breakfast was amazing, and the river nearby made the property feel like a peaceful little escape. We could relax by the pool in the sun, then return to a calm setting after exploring. The location worked really well for trips to Mostar’, Blagaj, and Kravica waterfalls, and getting back to the retreat felt like coming home. The hosts welcomed us so warmly from the start, shared stories about the region, suggested places to see, and made us feel cared for. You could tell how much effort they put into making guests feel at home. This charming place made our trip unforgettable. It had a lovely mix of comfort and adventure, and we left wanting to return. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the region.

The owners were incredibly welcoming and helpful, and the pool was easy to get to. This quiet, idyllic accommodation sits right beside the Buna river. A short walk takes you to Tekija, possibly the most famous Muslim house in Bosnia, where the river first emerges from a mountain cave. Mostar is only a few minutes away by car. There you can see the beautiful old bridge, wander alleys full of local merchants, enjoy Bosnian coffee, watch the famous bridge jumpers, and take in the old town. There are plenty of old castles and fortresses nearby too, so whether you stay two days or a week, there's always another place to visit. Best accommodation we've ever had. We'll definitely want to come back.

Beautiful nature, welcoming hosts, and fascinating history. Worth every penny. A reply to Nermin Talović, who gave two stars because he wasn't given the Wi-Fi password: you may have confused Villa Velagić with another guesthouse or Velagićevina. Villa Velagić isn't a restaurant or café where people can just walk in for coffee. The residence is strictly for guests, so your review is very misleading and untrue.

A place that takes your breath away, and the most peaceful place I've been. Being surrounded by nature felt healing. The rooms, food, pool, host, and river, everything deserves as many stars as you can see from here.
