The food after a long day skiing was a real highlight, especially the meat at dinner. This older hotel was very clean, and it has what families need without having to go out. With the ski-in, ski-out setup, we could head straight onto the slopes, which was especially handy with small children and beginner skiers. The value for money is the best I've come across, so we'll be back many times. The staff were incredibly kind, especially the welcoming man in the restaurant and the lovely woman by the playground and pool. I've never stayed somewhere more hospitable. I definitely recommend it.

The fireplace in the large separate house next to the hotel was the best part for me. The place has a lovely mountain view and is well placed for ski season. Staff were friendly and the service was good. Some repairs are needed, but taking everything together, I'd give it a 4.7.

The rooms were roomy and clean, and the restaurant food was okay. It's near the road, with large gas stations close by.
