A great stop for cyclists on the Ciro trail, with bike repair equipment and a tire pump. Pocitelj is only 3 km away. The hotel is a little outside Capljina, which honestly isn't much of a draw anyway, but the hotel itself feels like paradise. There's a big pool, which I practically had to myself, and my room was proper. The staff were very friendly, dinner was great with huge portions, and breakfast was really good too.

The service is really friendly and they do their best, but the rooms aren't great and the pool wasn't very clean. If you're vegetarian, you'll have trouble finding food. Breakfast is basic, though okay :)

I had an incredible two-night stay at hotel Storia and ate at the restaurant once. The whole complex is thoughtfully laid out, with a large, fairly deep pool, a pretty terrace, and a cozy restaurant and bar. The staff were always friendly and professional. Breakfast was plentiful, with eggs freshly made fried, scrambled, or as omelettes. The restaurant serves local, freshly prepared traditional Bosnian food. I had a mixed salad with amazing tomatoes and a generous, beautifully grilled Pljeskavica, eaten outside on the terrace :). The hotel is beautiful and well placed for visits to Kravice waterfalls (15 km), the Croatian border (20 km), and the Adriatic Sea (50 km). The rooms were clean, and the hotel has lots of attention to detail. I can recommend both the hotel and restaurant.

We stopped here to freshen up while driving from Sarajevo to Dubrovnik, and it turned out to be phenomenal: beautiful design and really friendly people. There's a little river behind the property. We didn't book a room, but the restaurant and outdoor area are amazing. It feels a bit in the middle of nowhere, yet it's well worth a stop between cities.
