Hotel Rimski Most

The waiter was really polite, but the owner of the hotel was rude and yelled at us over using two of our own light bulbs for photography, since the place is so dim inside. We had a wedding there. The place felt dusty and stuck in the past. The owner should learn how to speak to guests instead of making a scene for no reason. Worst restaurant ever. Best advice, avoid it.

There’s no ticket or tourist services here, so just walk around and enjoy the view. It’s a surprisingly well-preserved piece of history. You can park by the end of the Roman road, but getting there means driving on an unpaved or very poor road. And despite what the map says, you can’t drive across the bridge.

A memorable spot and one of the sights you really should see. Good.

It’s about a 10 minute walk from the bus station to the Roman Bridge, and makes a nice little picnic spot. Bring a mat if you plan to stay, since the benches have no backs. It can get empty, so I’d go with other people for company. In summer most of the river dries up, though a few tiny fish are still swimming around. In fall and on colder days, there’s plenty of water.
