Apartment in Konjic

The best part of staying here was how welcoming Marko and his mother were. Marko was always around with recommendations or help, and happy to sit for a relaxed chat, often over beer or rakija. The dogs and cats were lovely too. I spent a full week here and it really felt like a home away from home in Konjic. The house is a two-minute walk from the beautiful bridge, with hills nearby for a hike to a viewpoint over the plateau, the Neretva River and the surrounding mountains. And the hammock in the garden is just right for a summer afternoon.

Homemade cake was a lovely way to say goodbye, after being welcomed with lemonade and cherry liqueur. Marko and his mother made the guest house feel so warm and inviting, and we were very happy here. The beds were comfortable, and we used the kitchen to make both dinner and breakfast. We’d gladly recommend staying here. 🌸

The three sweet shepherd dogs outside the gate were happy to guide us on hikes around the area. The place is close to the city center and its main sights, and has the basics covered, from warm showers to Wi-Fi. The owners were very hospitable and glad to help with anything. A lovely place and a great experience.

Marko recommended a good rafting agency in Konjic and even arranged the booking for me. The trip on the Neretva River became an unforgettable highlight of my solo visit. The guest house is centrally located, but peaceful, so it was easy to explore and then come back to a comfortable place to rest. It was charming, spotlessly clean and cozy, and the hosts clearly cared about making guests feel welcome. I had a delightful stay at Guest House Konjic and would highly recommend it for a memorable visit.
