Mica Medjugorje

Passing through Medjugorje was part of the best trip of my life in the Balkans. It was a real privilege to stay at Pero and his family’s inn. I felt very welcome, and they worked around my university classes. It was so comfortable and unbelievably affordable. Pero, if you read this, I miss you terribly and hope to see you again someday.

The rooms were comfortable and had everything we needed, with WiFi and fresh towels and toilet paper provided each day. The food was amazing, and the town is just a 10-minute walk away. I enjoyed the walk, so the distance worked well for me. Peter and his mother Marie were lovely. They always made sure we had what we needed, and even stopped to offer me a ride when they saw me walking to town. I highly recommend staying here.

Our reservation was cancelled with only two hours' notice, after we'd booked months earlier for three families with young children. We had contacted them a week before arriving and got no reply. They said the email had gone to spam, but we'd sent the message through the booking platform. The way they handled it felt unprofessional. I also suspect they avoid taxes by not accepting cards. I took pictures of everything if anyone needs proof. Other comments suggest this has happened before. You don't want to publish the pictures of our message conversation.

The church is around a 10-minute walk away, and the rooms were spotless, with air conditioning. We also had a terrace and a refrigerator. Peter was a wonderful host who paid attention to what each guest needed. A great place, highly recommend it.
