Hotel Leone

The breakfast was a letdown: only one kind of salami and cheese, plus stale bread. When I asked for a discount because of the sleepless night and the trouble of dealing with an emergency, I was told nothing could be done. That lack of care and accountability was deeply frustrating. On my first night, the fire alarm went off at 1:30 AM, and there were no employees on-site to respond. I had to call the police. They eventually found and woke the owner at 2 AM so the alarm could be turned off. It seemed to have been caused by someone smoking in a room. The whole thing was incredibly stressful and disruptive, and left me with serious concerns about security and safety procedures. This experience fell far short of what I’d expect from a 4-star hotel. It needs better management, security measures, and service to justify that rating. I can't recommend staying here.

The bed was the most comfortable we've come across so far, and the bathroom was outstanding. Our room was spacious, quiet, and clean, with plenty of parking outside. It's an easy walk to the center and church. Breakfast was the one weak point, we'd give it 2.5 out of 5.

The location and atmosphere are wonderful, and the service was impeccable. I have absolutely no complaints. If you're visiting Medugorje, this is the hotel to stay at.
