Ivana was a great asset to the hotel, and the staff were friendly and knew the local area well. The hotel is near the town centre and a walking path leading to the back of the church. Rooms were clean and spacious, and WiFi was available. We enjoyed the hotel meals and the excellent local wine.

The staff were super friendly and helpful, and I’d recommend a visit to the family’s nearby winery. They serve its wines at the hotel too. I stayed here for two nights with friends during a Herzegovina wine tour. The accommodation was decent but quite basic, and breakfast was basic as well. We didn’t have dinner.

The owner was really lovely, and the welcome gift and their own wines were amazing. We’d stay here again. It’s a rustic hotel right in the center of everything in medgugorie, with a perfect location. We stayed two nights. The room was basic, no frills, but very comfortable and clean, though it could use a makeover. It felt more like a three-star place. Our room wasn’t cleaned on the second day despite asking several times, and we ended up having to request towels.

The church is close by, and the hotel was clean and comfortable. Everyone on staff was friendly and ready to help. We had a lovely visit and would happily stay at the Cesarica Hotel again.

If you enjoy boutique hotels, this place has a wine theme throughout. The modern rooms have vineyard and old village house posters, which give them a natural feel. You can taste local Herzegovina wines, Blatina (red) and Žilavka (white), and they also arrange pilgrimage services along with wine and heritage tours around Herzegovina.
