In my opinion, it’s the best small hotel in Medjugorje, and great value. Gordana is a fantastic host.

The one good thing was how close the location was to Apparition Hill. The room hadn’t been cleaned at all, with hair and chipped paint scraps scattered across the floor. The restaurant and everything around it was closed, so I had to walk all the way to the centre to find food. The central heating was broken, and the room had only two small heaters. It was freezing the first night because the room had gone unheated for a long time, though the second night was a little more bearable. There was no staff around apart from the chef, who came to collect my payment.

I wouldn’t recommend this place. The male bartender seemed unhappy, said there was no food available, and tried to charge me $10 for a tiny coffee that made me feel sick. He deliberately gave me too little change. Horrible service!

Warm, welcoming people and surroundings made this a very comfortable place. There’s good food, a coffee bar, and an open terrace where you can sit and enjoy yourself 😀
