Vedrana, the manager, is professional and thoughtful, and the staff are friendly, respectful, and very accommodating. The family who own the pansion are welcoming, and nothing seems too much trouble. They host groups from North America, the Far East, and Europe, and you can also arrange an individual stay directly with them. The food is plentiful and tasty, and many people I met return every year. I spent a long time there on a personal retreat and would definitely recommend it. The large, rambling pansion sits in a lane directly across from St James Church, less than a five-minute walk away. That’s great if mobility is an issue. There’s an elevator, and the rooms have air-conditioning and heating for comfort in any season. The garden is filled with stunning roses, and a small vineyard runs alongside the building.
