The location is pleasant, and having access to a kitchen is useful. But the way guests are treated was neither friendly nor considerate. I was put next to very loud people, and with such thin walls you can hear everything in the neighboring room. The hotel was otherwise mostly empty, so I don't understand why the only guests had to be placed beside each other. The woman was unfriendly from the start and wouldn't let me bring my bicycle indoors, even though there was plenty of room and it was raining that night. In all my years of bicycle travel, that had never happened to me before. She also tried to charge other guests extra when they struggled to open the door, despite the faulty lock not being their fault. I wouldn't recommend supporting a place where staff treat guests like this.

We had booked this hotel three months before our trip to medugorje and told them we'd arrive after midnight because we were coming from England. On the day we were traveling, while we were on the way to the airport, they emailed to say nobody would be there to let us in. They'd had three months to tell us. We were very upset, especially with children and a very sick young woman traveling with us, and we pleaded with them after explaining the situation. They told us to cancel the rooms and said they wouldn't let us in. I don't recommend this hotel. They canceled our rooms while we were on our way to the airport.

We were welcomed by a kind, friendly host family. The place is simple, pleasant and inexpensive, in the old part of town where you can get a feel for local life. There's a lovely walk to the church through the vineyards.

The room was nice for what it cost. I couldn't get a single room, but that was okay.
