The room had a minibar, the standard was good, and the price was good too. Great location and service. The shower door could be better, and I missed having a shoehorn, but overall it was very nice.

An old-style hotel in a great spot right beside the river. The breakfast was just about okay.

8/10
The room felt chilly, and the air conditioning didn’t seem to work right, so relaxing was difficult. I also noticed cigarette smoke coming in from another room, which was unpleasant. On the positive side, the hotel was impressively clean, with housekeeping keeping everything tidy and well maintained.

6/10
We were in a room directly over the entrance, and smoke from staff smoking by the door drifted inside whenever the windows were open. We raised the issue, but it kept happening. The hotel is in a great spot and both the rooms and the property were clean. Parking was a problem: there’s no onsite or valet parking, and staff didn’t know the Booking.com listing mentioned both.

10/10
There aren’t enough parking spaces for all the rooms, though there’s free parking nearby, within 100ft. The bed mats and pillows were incredibly comfortable, and the room had aircon, a tv and a fridge/freezer. Really, all I needed to bring was a toothbrush and a change of clothes. Excellent accommodation.
