Design Hostel StarMo

The staff were friendly and incredibly helpful, and I felt very welcome. Our room was spotless, the bed comfortable, and the shower had lovely warm water with excellent pressure. We had breakfast on our first morning and thought highly of it. The location is excellent, just moments from Star Grad and the Old Town, and really handy for coming and going on self-drive day trips. As you can tell, I think very highly of this Hostel!

The room was huge, colorful, and full of personal touches, with lots of space, lockers, comfortable beds, and a very spacious, clean bathroom. Since it was off-season, just the two of us got a room meant for more than ten people. We stayed three days last summer, and the staff were so friendly, welcoming, and chatty that we really enjoyed them. The place is only a two-minute walk from the city center, and there’s free parking. We were gobsmacked by how ridiculously little we paid. We loved Mostar and Hotel StarMo and would definitely recommend it.

The rooms feel fresh and relaxing, and they were very clean. The staff gave us such a warm, friendly welcome. It’s an easy walk to Mostar’s historic center, and there’s parking space too.

DO NOT STAY HERE! I booked the night before and the owner said I could check in until 11pm, but at 9pm I was left outside in the dark and pouring rain, facing a locked door. I messaged to say I was there; they read the messages and ignored them. I called 20 times and got no answer. At 9:45 I had to walk through cold, dark streets in a storm, carrying all my luggage, to find another hostel. There should be a zero-star option.
