Hotel Sunce doo Neum

The sea view was amazing, and the pool and beach access were nice features. A very good experience, with a beautiful, clean hotel and pleasant rooms.

Check-in was easy, but all we got was a key and card, plus a note that we needed a wristband for the pool. After that, the service was a zero for me. The staff were rude and wouldn't talk things through, no matter how politely we spoke to them. The food was okay, just ordinary. Don't expect extra towels, but do expect to be overcharged for anything they can, even when you speak the language and know the area. I'm Bosnian and live outside the country, and I haven't been this disappointed by a hotel in a long time. I'd give the rooms and cleaning crew zero stars too. The location gets one star because it's right in the middle of everything. People may tell you it's been "remodeled" and is therefore good. If this is remodeled, I'm afraid to see what it was like before. Most of all, do not stay here. We got bed bugs and bed sores, and an ER visit later, it turned out to be ringworms. I have more to say, but that's enough for now. Not recommended, and we'll never come back. I wouldn't put myself through that again. Pa sad gledaj.

The service was satisfactory, but that's where the good parts stopped. For a one-night stay in a standard room, we paid 150 euros, so that's the price range I'm judging it by. The hotel was dirty in the rooms and hallways, and especially in the dining area, where dishes were dirty and tables sticky. Dust had collected in every less visible corner. Cigarette smell was noticeable everywhere. In the room, neither the AC nor the rain shower worked. Breakfast was poor, looked unappealing, and smelled bad. The juices were so disgusting that we put them aside after one sip. Bread and packaged jams were the only somewhat decent items. If you just need somewhere to stay, I don't recommend it. There are places of the same standard for a lot less. And if you're thinking of returning out of nostalgia, I'd still say no. The place is stuck in the early 2000s, and better left as a memory of an earlier visit.

One of the worst hotels I've stayed in. The cleaning was the worst I've ever seen, from the room to the food. The swimming pool was ice cold, so the children couldn't bathe there. If you want to lie by the pool, you have to pay.
